Plenary #21):  The connection between fairy tale themes and DSM-IV diagnostic catagories 

Fairy tales have been with us for more that 500 years. When we as clinicians look at the themes and archetypes in these tales we can recognize the early descriptions of various psychiatric disorders that we apply today to our patients. This presentation will introduce the clinician to some of these description and provide resources for further study.
